چکیده

The minimal grand uni ed supergravity model is discussed. Requiring radiative breaking of the electroweak gauge symmetry, the uni cation of b and Yukawa couplings, a su ciently stable nucleon, and not too large a relic density of neutralinos produced in the Big Bang constrains the parameter space signi cantly. In particular, the soft breaking parameter m1=2 has to be less than about 130 GeV, and the top quark Yukawa coupling has to be near its (quasi) xed point. The former condition implies m~ g 400 GeV and hence very large production rates for gluino pairs at the LHC, while the latter constraint implies that the lighter stop and sbottom eigenstates are signi cantly lighter than the other squarks, leading to characteristic signatures for

Probing supergravity models with indirect experimental signatures.

We explore the one-loop electroweak radiative corrections in the context of the traditional minimal SU(5) and the string-inspired SU(5) × U(1) supergravity models by calculating explicitly vacuum-polarization and vertexcorrection contributions to the ǫ1 and ǫb parameters. We also include in this analysis the constraint from b → sγ whose inclusive branching ratio B(b → sγ) has been actually meas...

Precision electroweak tests of the minimal and flipped SU(5) supergravity models.

We explore the one-loop electroweak radiative corrections in the minimal SU(5) and the no-scale flipped SU(5) supergravity models via explicit calculation of vacuum polarization contributions to the ǫ1,2,3 parameters. Experimentally, ǫ1,2,3 are obtained from a global fit to the LEP observables, and MW /MZ measurements. We include q -dependent effects which have been neglected in most previous “...

R-Parity violating minimal supergravity at the LHC

We consider the case where supersymmetry with broken R-parity is embedded in the minimal supergravity model (mSUGRA). This alters the standard mSUGRA spectrum and opens a wide range in parameter space, where the scalar tau is the lightest supersymmetric particle, instead of the lightest neutralino. We study the resulting LHC phenomenology. Promising signatures would be detached vertices from lo...

After a lightning review of current bounds on the masses of supersymmetric particles, we describe strategies that may be helpful for extracting signals from the production of squarks, gluinos or top squarks, and from associated chargino-neutralino production at the Tevatron. We then briefly review SUSY signals at hadron and e + e − supercolliders. We discuss how various SUSY signals may be corr...

Phenomenology of minimal SU(5) unification with dynamical supersymmetry breaking.

We consider the constraints from proton decay and b-τ unification in the minimal supersymmetric SU(5) grand unified theory with a ‘visible’ dynamical supersymmetry breaking sector. We show how the presence of vector-like messenger fields and the constrained superparticle mass spectrum affect the phenomenology of the model. We include the messenger fields in our renormalization group analysis be...
